How to Edit a Maintenance Record

You can easily update the details of any maintenance record in Fleetlynk. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Maintenance Section:
    • Log in to your Fleetlynk account.
    • Go to the "Maintenance" section of the platform.
  2. Select the Vehicle:
    • Choose the vehicle for which you want to edit a maintenance record.
  3. Select the Record to Edit:
    • Click on the specific maintenance record you want to modify within the list of records.
  4. Edit Maintenance Information:
    • This action will open the maintenance record form, pre-populated with the existing details.
    • You can now edit any of the available fields, such as:
      • Date of Service
      • Type of Service Performed
      • Description of Service
      • Mileage at Service
      • Cost of Service
      • Vendor/Mechanic
      • Next Service Due
      • Notes/Comments
      • Inspection Checklist:
        • You can also update inspection checklist items.
        • Change a "thumbs up" to blank (fail) or vice versa.
  5. Save Changes:
    • After making the necessary edits, carefully review all the information in the form to ensure accuracy.
    • Click the "Save," "Update," or similar button within the form to save your changes.
    • You should receive a confirmation message that the maintenance record has been successfully updated.
